Lookie what I found through Illustration Friday
Loving this week's Illustration Friday theme. I just couldn't get inspired for feet or monsters. I considered posting photos of my son for both themes. Though not technically "art," I did have some part in creating him. I found so many wonderful pieces and am so sad that I have taxes and computer stuff to do this weekend instead of playing in my art room.
http://zyzzy.deviantart.com/ posted this art (below). I love it. It's so dark and whimsical at the same time.

and on this blog, both a fabulous pen & ink drawing and a beautiful collage. Wish I had that kind of control with an ink pen.

and who can resist the sweet little birds, crowns, and swirliness on this blog? Certainly not me.

and I found an adorable tree on this blog. Totally gonna do this with my flower rubber stamp.

and, of course, I have to post anything Somerset Studio-ish. I'm such an addict. This blog had the cutest art piece that I think would be a terrific inspiration for a set of ATCs.

this blog has an amazing collage - I'm going to study it later and see if I can figure out how many layers it is

and I can't resist sweet fabric illos either, like the one on this blog:
