Banner Project

Finally finished my banner project last night (inspired by Pam Garrison's banners both on her blog and in her recent Somerset Studio article). I meant to finish it in time for Cat's birthday, but that didn't happen, so I whipped up a digital card for her on the actual day. But here's what I had planned all along. Collage is super-hard for me. I hate to cover up the pretty parts and so I can't bring myself to create very many layers.

I saw these in the magazine also...I love how yours turned out here. I am completely unable to create any visual art like this, so I'm always amazed by what you do. Beautiful.

Hi! I stubbled upon your blog while searching out Pam Garrison. LOVE the banner you have made! I'd like to try one- I'd probably be like you and not want to cover up any pretty parts! LOL!

And . . .may I say that the pics really don't do this banner justice!

Thanks ever so much for the wonderful b.day card!

We're almost done rearranging the "front" of the store, so hopefully soon it will be hanging up for all to see. :D
