Crafts with Jakob

Jakob and his daddy had matching American flag t-shirts from Old Navy for 4th of July. Jakob really didn't want to wear the flag shirt (he wanted to wear the car shirt or the truck shirt or the dinosaur shirt) until he realized that his shirt was the same as daddy's shirt. Then he was very excited about his flag shirt. All day. Daddy flag shirt. Jakob flag shirt. And pretty disappointed that Mommy refused to wear her flag shirt (I don't have one)! So we made a paper flag. Jake liked both the rubbing of the glue stick onto the paper, and the smooshing down of the paper pieces to make 'em stick. He was not so happy that the stars were not repositionable.
