Happy 4th of July!

It's a little weird for me to be out here in California, where 4th of July is just kind of like any other day, but with fireworks. In Philadelphia, they were setting up for the celebration weeks ago. And in Washington DC I'm sure the situation was the same. Spectacular fireworks, parades, picnics, trips to the beach. It's summer in full force. Hot and humid, with kids running through sprinklers, and the smell of charcoal and lighter fluid.
